Purushottam Nagarkar, MD

I was recommended to Dr. Nagarkar after seeing Dr. Juan Cabrara and Dr. Williams at UT Southwestern mid last year. After experiencing pain in my left leg and groin area and dealing with nerve pain for 3 to 4 years, no one could figure out what the problem was, they all kept telling me it was my spine and treating my spine.. My back felt fine, I knew it was something more. Dr. Nagarkar listened to me and did a MRI (after a sonogram) and then a nuero MRI which showed what the problem was in my leg. Entrapped nerve from scar tissue.. Not my spine. Dr. Nagarkar was able to get me into surgery within a week or two of the results and it was almost instant relief in the SHARP stabbing, burning pain that kept me up all night and I walked with a limp due to the pain in my groin. After the surgery, I was slowly taken off of Lyrica and now mostly pain free and no medications other than arthritis meds.. I am so grateful for Dr Nagarkar for not jumping to conclusions and caring enough to look into what the real problem was. I HIGHLY recommend him, he will forever be my doctor.. Dr. Nagarkar will put your mind to ease, no matter how complicated your situation is. He is very easy to communicate with and champions thoroughness when being consulted with. I would highly recommend him.

I was blessed to be referred to Dr Nargarkar after an accident involving my hand and wrist. I truly believe I have FULL use of my right hand as a result of this surgeons' outstanding skills. He repaired tendons and left me with a teeny tiny scar. He is a plastic surgeon but also specializes in hand and wrist issues!!!! ALL of his office staff is wonderful as well!!!

Dr. Nagarkar “fixed” my upper eyelids. I had a lot of extra skin and at times, it was obstructing my vision and looked terrible. It was a simple and quick procedure for me. I had minimal discomfort, mostly irritation for a day or two. He was so nice and very gentle. I think that I look 15 years younger! I’m sooo happy with the results. I highly recommend him. His office staff was awesome, professional and efficient.
