I'm an out of towner who wanted to try a restaurant near my hotel and was extremely pleased with my experience at Edoko. I had the Mori Mori sushi roll and it was phenomenal. It was 8 pieces, so ordering another dish was necessary for a full dinner. The roll had a bit of a kick. I also had the seasonal dish of seafood risotto balls and loved them. Impressed by both dishes and my server was awesome to boot!
We stopped by after reading a review that said the food was great and server Jordan was also. We arrived and were served by Nicole. Everything we ordered was better than the last. My wife gets gyosa every time she can and the gyosa was the best I've ever had. We had the edoko fire roll next and it was the best roll I've ever had. We were seated next to some VIP regulars that had been going for years. They said it was all good and recommended the salmon collar. It was also good. My wife ordered the Hulk roll which was amazing flavors and textures. All the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Manager Rebecca made sure to stop by and check that we were happy. Cudos Rebecca you have a good team and we will be back soon. We have to because my wife loves creme brulee and we forgot to order it.
We found a new *(for us)* Japanese Sushi house to replace (unfortunately) our old favorite haunt, that recently closed it's doors forever.... we tried Edoko Sushi & Robata in Frisco tonight and boy! We are glad we did! This place was a instant hit! The staff are all extremely friendly and inviting. Our server was named Jordan (we will be requesting him by name if he is on duty) A very impressive young man, very knowledgeable of everything we asked about on the menu. We took his advice on the menu and we where not disappointed, we explained the flavor combinations that where our favorites and then he made a few suggestions that we tried and they where indeed very delicious! We were super impressed with everything we tried of particular note was the Calamari Steak fingers (to die for), The California roll, The Edoko Fire Roll (my personal favorite so far) and my wife's current favorite The Temptation Roll equally delicious and you could seriously taste the freshness of the fish they used in all the rolls we sampled. But the true highlight of the evening was the Creme Brule (that Jordan also suggested) it was hands down the best we ever had in Dallas, possibly the best we have had In The United States. It was the penicle of dessert deliciousness, utterly outstanding. We have tried many from Texas to Florida and all States in between and it is one of our favorite go to desserts when we are in the mood and this was it # 1. *special not, they make and ferment their own house made soy sauce and it is better then anything I've ever found in a grocery store. You can buy a bottle at the restaurant for a very reasonable price to take home as a souvenir. We did.
We had a great birthday dinner at Edoko Sushi! Our server was wonderful and the other staff members were so kind to us. We loved all of our entrees and appetizers. Our server checked in on us frequently and drinks were kept full. Edoko is definitely worth a stop when in the Frisco area if you like sushi and seafood.
I have been here a couple times and both times the food was great. We got three types of sushi, all three plates were delicious. We went around 2 pm and it was not that busy and service was great! It was my moms birthday too and they gave her a free fried ice cream to celebrate. Definitely recommend
