Dr Humenuik has treated several members of my family and has done knee surgery for my daughter. He is the most thorough Dr I have ever been to. He is never rushed and takes the time to fully explain everything.
As a surgeon in practice for 25 years, I have the opportunity to be highly selective when it comes to my medical care. Dr. Humeniuk is kind, personable, knowledgeable, and highly capable. I have trusted him with my own orthopedic care and that of my wife and my daughter. His integrity is beyond reproach; he will not perform unnecessary or overly aggressive surgery. He always looks out for your best interests, rather than his own.
Our son was 12 years when he first became a patient of Dr. Humeniuk's. Unfortunately, our son has had to have several knee surgeries since then, but we are thankful Dr. Humeniuk performed them. The doctor is very "kid friendly", makes himself available when needed, understanding when parents get a little "freaky" because their child is in pain & easy to talk to.
Dr. Humeniuk & staff have been great with my daughter. We have received excellent care and options of treatment. My daughter (13) ended up needing surgery and that also went very well. I have no complaints here!
I took my son there after he broke his arm. Dr. Humeniuk was recommended to my wife by local moms. He was amazing and patient towards my son. He took the time to explain everything he was doing and I felt reassured with his ability to treat him. We were cash pay and he didn't nickel and dime us for everything. We went 4 times with him and waited approx 10min each time. I hope we don't get any more broken bones but if we do we will be visiting him again.
