DFW Roofing Pro

DFW Roofing Pro did an outstanding job. They were able to fix a leaking issue that I had for a long time. Noah and Blake were able to work with us explaining the products, services, cost and guiding us during the whole insurance claim process. I am very pleased with DFW Roofing Pro.

Here is my honest and objective (albeit fairly long winded) experience with DFW roofing. Bottom line up front the initial experience was extremely frustrating, but that improved markedly near the end. Names and dates have been omitted for privacy and security.

We were originally approached by a door-to-door salesman after a particularly intense hail storm. The gentleman offered a free roof inspection to see if there was damage to our roof. After confirmation, we were put in touch with another representative that explained further what they could and could not do, including working with us on cost because we had a higher than usual deductible. He also offered to assist us in filing a claim with our insurance, which from my perspective was limited to just calling up my insurance on his phone and allowed me to verbally open a claim (I was geographically unavailable throughout this entire process). They handed my spouse a form with an explanation that it was a written authorization to let them be our proxy with the insurance company, but upon further inspection of the document, it was an actual work agreement with no back-out date, no cost estimate, but with the terms that cancellation will result in exorbitant recuperation fees. For my part I take responsibility for signing without reading the fine print, but I find it quite disreputable that this contract was handed to us under false pretenses.

In the days after the initial meet and greet, I was handed off to multiple people throughout the estimate process, all of whom were very unresponsive to calls, voicemails, and text messages. After a couple coordinating calls and some genuine apologies from the supervising company rep, we were able to finally establish reliable communications via calls, text, and email. There was a lot of confusion because initially they wanted us to pay for the entire project up front, but when the supervisor took over, they reengaged our insurance company, and we were able to get resolution, and a settlement claim from my insurance. Eventually I was put in touch with the company CEO, who then personally oversaw the remainder of the project, and that was when it smoothed out the most. The promises to work with us on the deductible turned out to be empty, as it was explained to me near the end that legally I had to pay the full deductible. I understand the liability now, but at the time I was thankful for any reprieve from the sticker shock. Looking back I think it was just a sales pitch.

Once the insurance sent an initial and supplemental settlement (DFW was very good about communicating with my insurance on the estimate, and they were able to find common ground), We coordinated a time for the laborers to arrive. My point of contact was very responsive and transparent about what to expect.

On the day of the project, the laborers arrived around 7 am and they had my entire roof replaced and all debris/equipment cleaned up in just over 5 hours. This was an impressive feat.

To summarize: I gave this whole experience four stars because after some questionable sales tactics in the beginning and a period of intermittent communication, the team at DFW did pull through with a detailed estimate, ensured I had a thorough understanding of what to expect, and the construction team did a fantastic job at a very impressive speed.

DFW Pro Roofing will go above and beyond for their customers. They were the most responsive, and best priced when we were researching which company to use for our roofing replacement. Blake showed me using FaceTime how our ventilation had been replaced incorrectly and dangerously during the previous owner’s roof replacement and repaired everything for us. We were risking carbon monoxide poising and incorrect ventilation, and had no idea. This company helped us handle our insurance claim and got the insurance company to double the payout amount by submitting their inspected items for the adjuster to include. They replaced our roof, gutters, ventilation, and helped repair our fence. We will only be using DFW Pro from now on for any of our roofing/fencing needs.

Absolutely loved working with Blake at DFW Roofing Pro. Not only did they fight with my insurance to get more approved they handled all work within a timely manner. I would 10/10 recommend them to all my friends and family!
