“This past week, Jackson's grandmother (Dad's mother) passed away. And the funeral was Sunday, and the whole family was there. This is so significant because had this been just 2 months ago, we would have not been able to have Jackson attend because his behaviors were so off the chart bad! But he was an angel! And I'm not just saying this cause I'm so in love with this kid, he was!! He even went around during the family meal before the service and was giving everyone hugs! It was so unbelievable, and so fitting for his grandmother's honored day! Because of his new school, his behaviors are now where we can enjoy our son again and others can see the joy he has for everyone! He's potty trained (Brenda did in 2 weeks what public school couldn't in 5 years)! He interacts appropriately with everyone, it's an absolute miracle what this school has done for our family!! “We started my son at AMC when he was 3 months old. After vetting a few preschools in the North Dallas area, we felt most comfortable driving 13 minutes to Plano to take him there. It was the best decision we made. We recently moved south of Dallas and the drive was too much for us, so our last day was Friday. It broke our hearts to have to leave AMC. Everyone made the first day the easiest for us as a new parents dropping our baby off for the first time, and everyone made it hard to take him home from school for the last time. Thank you to all of the teachers and staff that have loved on our family over the past 18 months; thank you for all you have done to keep our little one safe during the pandemic. We will never EVER forget you!”
