“I've worked just 3 miles from this place for 23 years and wish I'd known about it sooner. Might have prompted me to dive deep into genealogy long before 2016. The center is less for microfilm/fiche and books and more about free access to Ancestry, Family Search etc. The staff and volunteers were friendly and helpful and I'll definitely be back.”

“One of the best of all libraries around. The staff can help you with finding forms for many legal problems. They cannot give advice or replace a lawyer, but they're incredibly knowledgeable and tell you where to look. They can notarize as well! 🤠😎”

“We absolutely love the Prosper Library! My 2 year old daughter would spend every day here if she could! It’s not the largest library, but what it doesn’t have in size, it makes up in charm. The librarians are always so welcoming and sweet. We are blessed to have such a beautiful library in our community!”

“Moved to the area and came here to get the family library card setup. Staff was friendly and very helpful, quick setup (I already signed up for the e-card), and answered all my questions. It’s a large library with lots of natural light and windows. Child’s section is very nice and the kid zone is super convenient (glass room with door and a light board on the wall). They also have reading kits with different subjects, ie construction, dinosaurs, etc. Will definitely be reading books and attending some of the events offered here.”

“Comfy and decent, this library has an ok adult section and carries CDs. The real strength is study locations and location. It is right on the bike trail and very easy to bike to. The ability to get books on hold put here also helps with the suburb-ness. The nearby river is fantastic. It’s small but has plenty of space to study. While it lacks equipment for studying, this library has some quiet rooms, desks, computers, and table. There’s also plenty of trees outside the building”

“Love this place, great place for studying, clean and organized, most employees are kind. One day was getting preparation for anatomy exam an Indian student came and started watching the Bollywood movie online without even using his headphones. I was so annoyed and after bearing him for 40minutes had let him know it's a library not a media room.”
