Mariscos El Paisa

I’ve visited a couple times on weekends and was very satisfied. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican Sea Food look no further. There’s a nice playground for younger kids to play on, while you enjoy a cold drink for those warmer days.

Great service and great food. I am not a fan of Mexican seafood, so I ordered the kids meal with a bean and cheese burrito and fries. It was so good. The tortilla tasted homemade and the fries were fresh and the serving size was just right. My brother in law ordered a burrito from the adult menu and it was huge. He only ate half of it and took the rest home. This place is order at the front and they bring you your order. There was a group of 11 of us and our food was served right away. We were also able to find a table to fit all of us. They have a lovely outdoor area and play area for the kids. Everyone was happy with their food and the friendly staff checked on us frequently to see if we needed anything.

Can’t believe I just discovered this place after living in Canyon Lake for 5 years! So far I’ve tried the fish, pastor & asada tacos. They were all great but the pastor is my favorite. I usually dump hot sauce on my food, but the flavor on these tacos was so good it didn’t need anything. My wife had the cheese and beef enchiladas, they were also great. The beef was very tender and flavorful. The prices are extremely reasonable, I can see myself eating here several times a week. The service is also fantastic! They don’t wait until your entire order is ready, they just bring dishes out as soon as they’re ready….which is fast! Can’t say enough good things about this spot, it’s a gem!
