Marios Pizza and Wine Bar

Fantastic service and best pizza we have had in San Antonio! Deja was our waitress and did an excellent job. Our kids loved the pizza rolls and cheese pizza with white sauce. Get the “OMG” you won’t regret it! We will be back!

Updating the review...the new location down the road is a gem! I've been there twice already and everything has been great. The cheesy bread and garlic knots alone is a meal of it's own! The pasta additions here is really good. The Alfredo I got at my last visit was warm compared to the spaghetti dishes my other family members had. I have to get back and look to have the pizza again. Oh the dessert was fresh as well. Add in live music and friendly staff is a win-win.

If you're considering dropping by you ABSOLUTELY need to! My husband and I just moved to the area and came across this place by chance and don't know what we'd do without this pizza going forward. Tonight the staff seemed a bit stretched thin, but we still got everything we needed in a timely manner. We started with the Homemade Meatball Sliders and they melted in your mouth. The textures and flavors were amazing. The crostinis were crispy and had integrity but were so light at the same time. The meatballs were tender and coated in the most flavorful marinara. My husband and I couldn't decide between the Capo and the Mario's White Pizza so we got both and will absolutely enjoy the leftovers. I'm not sure how in the world I'm supposed to try different places when Mario's is an automatic favorite. BRAVO!

My lovely wife and I stopped by for dinner after running errands and visiting friends. Gerry and Mary are gracious hosts, they are both very attentive to your needs and they remember your drink of choice. The pizza is top notch, the kitchen staff is a well lubricated cooking machine, they don't miss a beat. I had the margherita pizza with calamata olives, excellent. Make the effort and drive the few short minutes for this wonderful establishment. You will not be disappointed.
