“I'm an established patient with Dr. Trusevich. No concerns with him as a physician but definitely have a concern with the office - which is also another important aspect of the total care that a patient receives. I'm currently on several medications for blood pressure. One of them is newer and does not yet come in a generic form (and is therefore very expensive). I expressed this DURING my appointment with Dr. Trusevich and requested a generic alternative that was less expensive. Dr. Trusevich gave me samples for the designer medication and a card to try to get the medication at a discounted rate. He promised that he would prescribe a generic alternative if the discount didn't work or was unsatisfactory. Later, the samples are gone and the medication (even with the discount) was still WAY more expensive than the generic price I get through insurance. SOOOOOO, I had to call the office to try to obtain the new script I had requested at my office visit. I spoke with Felicia who informed me that I (the patient and not a trained pharmacist) would need to call the insurance company to get a complete list of medications in the same "class" as the one I take but that are on the formulary so that Dr. Trusevich can select from one of them. Per Felicia, I could then call them back with this requested list in order to get the promised less expensive blood pressure medication order. I guess I'm now part of the extended office staff. Sarcasm aside - I don't feel it's appropriate to have a patient to try to obtain medication information. How would a patient know what to ask for or whether the information they were obtaining was appropriate? What if I missed a medication that would be more appropriate for my treatment because I'm not trained or familiar with what to ask? Seems/feels like there are some potential safety concerns here. Not sure whether to put this under bad customer service or lazy office staff. Neither one of those is very good. I really need this medication and it doesn't sound like the office is going to help so I guess in addition to trying to get this list of medications, I'll need to start looking around for another cardiologist with an office staff that provides better customer service. Unfortunate. Update 24-Dec-2020: I wanted to provide an update to this review and rating. The day after it posted, I received a call from Dr. Trusevich personally. He was extremely pleasant and professional (same as all my interactions with him). He said that the medication that I was needing to change was very common, that it has been in use for many years and didn't require a call to my insurance company for a list of alternatives/generics. He was apologetic for the confusion. He prescribed an alternative on the spot and immediately had the prescription called into my pharmacy. Thank you Dr. Trusevich for personally following-up on this with me. I really do appreciate it.”

“We have been seeing Dr, Patel since my daughter was 5 yrs. old and she is now 16. He has always had the best bed side manner which is hard to come by these days and he is truly GREAT at what he does.We have never felt rushed with him he always takes the time to talk and listen not just about my daughters asthma but also about her and what she wants to do after high school. Today we saw him for her usual check up visit and he really shared with her some great advise for her future after high school, it really meant a great deal to her and I both she just couldn't stop talking about it all the way home. I would like to also mention that the office staff and his medical assistants have always been so kind and courteous.”

“I recommend Dr Pipkin to everyone that suffers from neck and back pain!!!! He is the Best spine specialist!!! He came in with a very pleasant and caring attitude, actually introduced himself to my husband and I, which really surprised me, because most doctors, especially specialist, Never do that, at least not to us. Dr. Pipkin was very professional, thorough, and actually cared to listen to what I had to say!!! He answered every question I had for him, he explained my problems to me very well and also showed me on screen and with the spine model!!! I went in without much hope because I’ve had to live with my pain for, in December, 18 years, but I came out of his office very grateful and hopeful that finally a doctor that DIDN’T tell me I was just old and fat!!!! Yes, you read that right, I had a doctor tell me that when I was 40 years old and I’m 58 now. You know I never went back!! “I have heard nothing but great things about Dr Tubb and his staff. Now that I'm in their care, I know that they have my well-being a number one priority. He and everyone has taken the time, thoughtfulness, explaining what is going to be happening with my surgeries. I was apprehensive as to having hip replacement surgery on both hips. His assistant went over the procedure and then Dr Tubb went over everything in full detail. I'm glad to be in such great hands. “I wanted to share a good experience as I feel like I am seeing too many negative experiences in the reviews. Mental Health is not a one appointment, one standard medication type of treatment. I have been seeing NP French for medication management for at least 6 months now. She is very knowledgeable and shares her knowledgeable during each visit. When you go for a medication management session, the provider is not there for you to talk about your recent daily goings-about. The medication management provider is there to evaluate the effectiveness of your prescribed medication on an objective basis using questionnaires and talking about how you feel the medication is working for you. Since starting with NP French, I have noticed a massive improvement in my mood, attitude, and ability to focus. She’s been really wonderful and is focused on patient safety first, as she should be. I’ve also never had any struggles with the office staff or billing department. Everyone has been beyond friendly and helpful. If you are looking to do talk therapy, consider requesting a talk-therapy session with their counselors, but if you are looking specifically for medication management, like me, NP French does a wonderful job in searching for the right medication for you. If that is what you are looking for, I highly recommend NP French and her staff.”

“Dr Lanos office is so nice, very professional, and they always have a smile for you. Dr Lano could use some improvement on his bedside manner. My first visit with Dr Lano was for a very serious problem with swallowing caused by a severe allergy to a medication. I didn’t find him very friendly or caring. But I have to say his treatment for my condition is working very well. A little kindness and caring goes a long way, makes for a good doctor and patient relationship. My second visit, a follow up, I waited 30 minutes past my appointment time, when he finally came into the exam room there was no apology for the wait. This was a very quick visit, a quick check and then he left the room, while I was still talking to him. I am a retired RN CCM, with over 40 years in nursing. In all those I never forgot caring, compassion, kindness, and empathy. Valerie his nurse is absolutely wonderful. She is caring and thoughtful. She took very good care of my needs, returning my calls, getting my prescription refills approved, and working with the pharmacy staff. I can’t say enough about Valerie. She has been wonderful at both visits, new patient and follow up.”
