I visited this location on May 4th, after driving just down the road from a disappointing meal at another restaurant. I have nothing bad to say about this place. I came in at rather a slow time I guess, because I didn’t think the place was open, but the cashier in the convenience store part of the establishment assured me they were open. The young lady that waited on me was so pleasant and inviting, it was as if we were longtime friends. That really drew me in and made me feel better about stopping here. I ordered a huge burrito and a first time “fish taco”. The fish taco was actually pretty good; I ate it first. The burrito on the other-hand was “Exceptional”. It was one of the better burritos I’ve had over the years to be honest. Nice big chunks of choice meats and an above average size, making me definitely feel this place was worth the stop. I’ll gladly recommend this place and stop by again in the future.
We love the tacos here. They have a smoker out back that they make some of the meat in. We are locals and you will not find a healthier or more delicious taco in the area. The service is usually very quick even when they are busy. They have plenty of tables to use to enjoy your meal. Everyone we have taken here enjoys the food too. Just go and order the different type of tacos to figure out your favorites, they are all reasonably priced. The fries and burgers are great too. You can also get Pepsi or Coke products. The store is kept clean and the bathrooms are always immaculate.
Normally you would have to go all the way to Denton for tacos this good, but tucked right on the interstate was a place that surprised me immensely. The tacos were extremely good, came at a decent price, and were made quickly and fresh. Pictured are the Barbacoa, the Shrimp, the Fish, and the Rib-eye tacos from left to right respectively. Will definitely be coming back here! The owner was extremely friendly and welcomed me for my first visit, and even checked on how I was liking it. Not your average gas station fare.
