“Camped 2 nights at site 74. It was a last minute trip and that was the only spot available. The site was spacious and clean. All parts of the part were well kept. The playgrounds are old, which is pretty on par for Texas State Parks. I will go back in the future and get spot that backs up to the lake.”

“I have been taking my animals to Lone Oak for about 15 years and my family and our animals have always been treated top notch. I have even moved to south of Ft Worth and refuse to take my animals to another vet so I drive an hour and a half just to see Dr Gleason and staff (we adore Kristi too) They have been so knowledgable about each of our pets (large and small) and are the kindness, caring and most patient vet I have ever visited even when delivering not so great news. We've had several pets go to them as babies and stayed with them until crossing the rainbow bridge due to old age. I trust them above and beyond and will continue to make that drive based on the amount of care I have witnessed them put into their patients and humans.-k”

“This place was absolutely incredible. I went into this not knowing what we had got ourselves into. The property was small but made great use of the space. We stayed in the Cattle Barons suite. We had fun feeding and watching puzzles from our room. We had a delightful dinner and spent the night seeing all of the animals. I would highly recommend this to anyone that has young children or looking for an adventure. All of the staff was polite, knowledgeable and very friendly. I would definitely come back for another visit.”
