“This was a girls trip with my friend from elementary school. The SCHILLINGHAUS B&B was amazing, clean and maybe I should say spotless. The owners are remarkable in assuring your every need is met and our 1 bedroom, fully equipped apartment was beautifully renovated. They provided us with so much history of the area and things to do and see. We love the vouchers for breakfast or any meal you choose as everyone doesn't eat at the same time or may have dietary constrictions. I highly recommend this B&B.”

“We’ve had a wonderful experience staying here! Nancy and Chase are such wonderful people, and they have been so helpful. The amenity center is absolutely gorgeous! The bathrooms are beautiful and clean (including an ADA bathroom and shower). The amenity center also has on-site laundry, vending machine, an on-site dog park, a package delivery box, and a homey “coffee shop” aesthetic communal area for visiting or to use the Wi-Fi. There’s also a wonderful stretch of fenced in synthetic turf off the back porch for kids to play and for families to gather! The view of the valley from the RV spot locations is spectacular! It’s in a perfect location (just a short drive to Denton and Gainesville), but is still nice and quiet as it’s tucked in the country. It has a wide concrete entrance without any obstructions making entering and exiting with an RV very easy. Time slows down here. It really is a little slice of Heaven.”

“I'm sorry some people had a bad experience. I've been here over a month. The management and staff have been very good to me. Close to anything in Gainesville and the Casino. For the price I would recommend it. My dog likes the all the walking and running room outside. I've stayed here a couple other times before and would stay again. Thank you Rodeway Inn for a nice stay so far.”

“We brought 3 little dribbler basketball teams with players, coaches, and families for a nearby tournament. The management team was great to work with, even with different teams and families arriving/departing at different times during our stay. The breakfast set up was great!! The pool was also clean, heated, and very fun. The location is was great for us, too. Lots of food options within minutes. If we ever need to stay in Gainesville again, we'll check availability here first.”

“You have to rate the motel by what it is. this is a much older style motel. park outside your door. Its not a luxury accommodation. we stayed here as the price was decent, and it was where we were at that evening. Just didn't feel like driving over to Gainesville or farther. Room was clean for the most part. Newer hard surface floor in good shape, I'm sure replaced carpet. Many other items are dated and show years of use - but clean. The reason I knocked it down was the coffee pot had old coffee in it. I cleaned it myself (as I was doing anyway because it always seems safer to do it even when looking clean)”

“We had a great time staying here. Owner was great with communication. Gravel lots with paved terraces. Pretty good water flow and surrounded by trees. Small lot too so minimal noise other than the neighboring cows and geese at the vet next door which is great if you have pets. The vet is actually amazing. Great location and price. Oh, and there's an RV service department not one minute from the site which is great if you need something fixed.”

“Love it! FHU 30/50amp long gravel spaces. It’s brand new... Laundry on site. Dollar General next door, convenient to Gainesville and Whitesboro. The owner is super nice... He just built a huge doggy park and has some fruit and flower trees planted. I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area!”

“This place was absolutely incredible. I went into this not knowing what we had got ourselves into. The property was small but made great use of the space. We stayed in the Cattle Barons suite. We had fun feeding and watching puzzles from our room. We had a delightful dinner and spent the night seeing all of the animals. I would highly recommend this to anyone that has young children or looking for an adventure. All of the staff was polite, knowledgeable and very friendly. I would definitely come back for another visit.”

“We really enjoyed our stay. Great place for a peaceful experience with kids. It was nice and quiet... definitely a perfect getaway for our anniversary (when dealing with three kids). We enjoyed observing all the animals, especially the camel. He had a lot of personality haha. We met the owners parents and they were so sweet and accommodating. Our sons really wanted to see the peacocks and they held hands with our sons and took them both inside the caged area. It was awesome. They even got them both a peacock feather. We met Carrie during check in and she was just so sweet and accommodating. They also setup a crib in our room for our 1 year old which was so nice. It saved us the trouble of bringing along a pack n play. We stayed in the upper room which was tastefully decorated. Everyone was so kind and friendly. All in all, we were very pleased and will most likely be visiting again.”

“We enjoyed our stay here. We even weathered it out during the worst winter in 100 years (but we’re michiganders, we weathered the storm and modified the storm concerns like freezing water and such). We really enjoyed the stay. It quiet and we even got neighborly with the neighbors and we helped each other out during the storm. We got WiFi while we were here. Mike and Dale were wonderful to work with. Planning our return in the fall and we haven’t even left yet. A big YAHOO to y’all. Save us a spot in the fall Mike and Dale!!! ❤️❤️❤️”

“The lady working here is very sweet and friendly. Wish I could stay at the park longer. For a pull through site it was $36. If you have triple A or are or was in the military they offer $4 off a night. The sites have asphalt and are really nice and level. They have pull through sites and back in sites. They also have a pond. The vibe from this place is peaceful and welcoming.”
