Kristina Jobe: Hair Artist

As a young girl my family traveled to Laguna Beach every summer. We continued to do so throughout my entire childhood. Each Sunday, during the summers, we would attend church at this little chapel. Although we were just visitors, we were always welcomed with open arms. I can remember such a great feeling of warmth and love even as a young child. Now when I attend I still experience that same feeling of love and kindness.

Going to this church is really an answer to prayer. I've noticed a difference being around so many committed followers of Christ. I felt very welcomed.

I attended this church as a child and love coming back to visit. It's always had a small, close-knit feeling that I love returning to. Part of its charm is the small, unique building; but the real bonus is the people who attend church here. Even though it's been 30 years since I lived here, people still greet me by name. They remind me what true disciples of Jesus Christ should be.

The congregation at this little building is one of the most welcoming I’ve found. Since moving here in 2020 it’s been both a place of spiritual renewal and a mechanism in which my family and I can serve our community in Laguna Beach. Thanks to this particular congregation we’ve been given opportunities to work alongside other churches to give relief to the people in Ukraine, refugees fleeing political oppression, the unsheltered in SoCal, and feeding the hungry close to home. The worship services each Sunday have allowed me to reflect more closely on the teachings of Jesus and connect with a broader family of followers of Christ.

We moved to Laguna Beach a couple years ago and this church has been a huge gift to my family and I. The people are warm and accepting and the sole focus is on Jesus Christ and trying to become like Him.

I have very curly hair! Anyone else I have ever used either seemed intimidated by my coils, or completely jacked my hair up. It takes someone with ALOT of talent and compassion to be patient enough to manage super pig-tail curls like mine, that is why I have always and will always use Kristina! On top of being phenomenal at what she does, her love and passion for hair radiates through ALL of her clients! When I go to her I know I will be beyond satisfied with my hair. Being a mother of 4 she has completely helped build my self esteem back, thank you will never be enough. Not only have I struck out on a very talented, amazing hair stylist, I have also been blessed to gain a forever friendship!❤️

Kristina is an amazing hair artist not just your average stylist. Her technique and passion for her skill will leave you walking out of the salon feeling like a million bucks.
