LAKESHORE RV RESORT

We travel to Dallas, Texas area twice a year to visit family and have stayed at a number of state, county and RV parks in the area over the years. We have a new favorite, Lakeshore RV Resort in Garland, TX on Lake Hubbard. It is located next to a city park with a trail, fishing pier and boat launch. It has a great pool, hot tub and an activity building that includes laundry facilities, a computer room, a work out room, two TV viewing areas, an outdoor observation deck, and outdoor BBQ areas. It is just a short drive to Harbor Point and many wonderful restaurants. The only down side, is highway noise, to be expected in an urban RV park. We definitely recommend if you are in the area.

LAKESHORE RV RESORT is a wonderful place for a destination!! This RV park offers very good amenities and is located between Dallas County and Rockwall County. This park is situated on Lake Ray Hubbard that shares Dallas and Rockwall County in Texas. The park is directly across from Lake Ray Hubbard. One would have to get a fishing license to fish, whether for catch and release or keeping what one might catch.There are limit restrictions in Texas as there are in other states. There are many local restaurants that one can go to. The amenity center has a pool table, a shuffleboard table that has a bowling pin setup to try. The laundry room is setup to load up the app on one's phone so you wouldn't have to use quarters. The dryer and washer only cost $1.50. There is a workout room with treadmills and some weights. There is a business center room for those who need to do remote work.. The swimming pool is nice and there is a hot tub and a putting green to practice on..The staff in the office is top notch and very accommodating and friendly..Stop by and check this RV PARK out if you are heading west on Interstate 30 through Rockwall, Texas. Take the Bass Pro Shop exit and go straight and look for the LAKESHORE RV PARK sign and turn right!! Hope many people check this place out!!

The staff is so friendly and helpful and I see them running around all the time working to keep this place top notch. They keep pretty good hours in the office so there is almost always someone to help if you need anything and if there is an emergency I've seen the staff here working away to get it fixed.

The facilities have stayed very clean the whole time I've been here. Bathrooms are in my opinion usually a good measure of how clean a place is and the bathrooms here are cleaned daily(or close to it). Laundry is a breeze here. It is all paid for through an app so you don't have to worry about keeping cash and quarters. All the washers and dryers work great. The pool and hot tub are great. They also have small dog parks in almost every corner of the park.

The spots are clean and offer plenty of room. I have a 29' trailer and could easily still park 3 vehicles and have room for my "porch" out front. Power and water are reliable. They have had to shut the water off for emergency and maintenance purposes from time to time but never very long. The free wifi is okay for browsing but you're not going to do much more than that. They offer faster internet packages for streaming that are pretty reasonable.

I was BLOWN away by this RV resort. The quality of the facilities and the attentiveness of the staff was as good as I've ever had while RVing.
I brought a couple buddies to Dallas for the Texas/Oklahoma game and this resort was close proximity to the State Fair of Texas. While visiting, I needed to do some remote work that required a reliable internet connection. I called the week before to make sure the speed was sufficient and the staff made sure it was adequate, even going so far to make upgrades to their system to make sure. Upon arrival the staff (Sheri/Dee/John) all moved heaven and earth to make sure everything was handled. So thankful for their effort.
Aside from that, the pool, amenities building, clean & roomy sites were just what we needed after a day at the fair and the football game. If I'm ever in Dallas again, I will be staying at this resort. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Really friendly staff, Terry (manager) checked on us everyday to make sure we did not need anything. Sites are large, level and nice. They did a great job in designing this facility. Clubhouse, pool and spa are very nice. Easy access from I30. Defintley worth checking out.
