(January 11, 2023, 7:42 am)This cozy family run restaurant popped up in the place of an old dry cleaner and honestly it’s about time something this authentic popped up in this area of garland. They have menudo (on weekends) and delicious fresh flour and corn tortillas. I had the guiso ribs in salsa verde. They were tasty though a bit on the salty side. Their bell pepper guiso was amazing I’d recommend it. The owner is very welcoming and loves making suggestions and all the staff are super attentive.
While there were also tried some of their pan dulce. The selection is small and it’s just ok tbh but it hits the spot with a hot cafe de olla. My favorite was the twisted flaky one.
Check this place out while it’s still a hidden gem!
(October 16, 2022, 8:13 pm)First time and definitely enjoyed it. Tried the beef guiso, not what I expected but good nonetheless. Was very surprised that after 5 pm on a Sunday they still had menudo, which was good. Not too fatty/greasy and unlike so many others does have hominy. Look forward to coming back and trying breakfast and some tortillas.

I ordered a brisket breakfast burrito it came with a side of potatoes. ⬇️⬇️⬇️
(July 14, 2022, 10:17 pm)First time here and it was amazing. Super friendly staff. My wife had the chilaquiles with green sauce and I had the brisket burrito and strawberry crepes. Everything was so good. Definitely coming back.
(June 15, 2022, 1:00 pm)We were greeted by the owner with the most big smile and welcome 😃 the place is very well maintained, clean, and very comfortable. Love the environment and the decor😃 the food was delicious, was hot and super yummy! everyone is very nice, will definitely come back again 😃
