(March 7, 2020, 4:17 pm)I lived in California for many years, and consider myself a fair judge for good Chinese food. I was introduced to this restaurant and have been impressed with the quality of the dim sum.
(March 5, 2020, 8:39 pm)My go to place for Dim Sum in DFW. Kind of hidden within a Vietnamese complex. It's gotten busier over the years as more people have found out about it. They have the push carts for authenticity and generally do a good job of making the rounds with the various options. You can order Dim Sum off the menu if it's something you don't see. Everything has pretty good portion sizes and comes out hot and fresh.
(February 22, 2020, 8:38 am)Clean restaurant, tasty food. Lobsters are flown from Maine on Fridays. We had 1 dim sum plate, fried flounder and lobster fried rice. Great service, not very crowded for lunch on Friday, tasty Cantonese food!
(January 30, 2020, 11:03 am)Tried dim sum here for the first time and liked it a lot (came here for dinner a few years ago and wasn't impressed).
It was Chinese New year so it was really busy. There were only like 3 push carts, small and not tons of stuff on them, which was strange given the size of the restaurant. But then there were servers walking around with trays of other dishes. Made it a little harder because you had to keep looking around to see if there was something you wanted and then flag them down, but I guess it worked.
The main thing, of course is the food. And it was the best dim sum we've had in the area in years. Nothing in Plano makes me happy, and even Kirin Court wasn't impressive last time I went, though I'll give them another shot.
This place had all the regular dishes. Some of them, the flavor was different from what I normally get at other places, but was still good, just slightly different.
It's a bit out of the way for me, but I'll definitely be back. I hope this wasn't a fluke.
