So yesterday I went to get brake pads and a rotor at Autozone. Went through the usual finding the part number. As the guy behind the counter was looking at my information, he realized that I had previously bought brake pads with a lifetime warranty.

Now, I always thought the warranty was just on workmanship. Turns out I was wrong.

He explained that I could essentially swap them. He did some more looking and found my rotors were a better grade and still were under warranty as well.

I walked in thinking I was going to buy the cheapest brake pads and a single rotor for about $140. After I returned the old ones when I finished replacing them, I ended up with $215 for free due to the warranties.

Thanks Autozone Paul. You saved me money and only reinforced my loyalty to your store.

They were quick to help me with a battery replacement. I was in and out within 10 minutes. Quick service and decent pricing for the most part.

The cashier told me of a sale I didn't know was going on. It ended up either being the same price or cheaper while getting another item. Very knowledgeable and professional.
