“Cara is the best Chiropractor I have ever be to. Before, whenever I went to a Chiropractor it was focused on popping and sending you on your way, which this method never had lasting relief for me. After seeing Cara at Serenity Chiropractic & Wellness I discovered that the popping method is not the best in terms of lasting relief, or adjusting things properly. In fact whenever I went to chiropractors before that used the popping method I could go in to the visit feeling fine, however leave with a migraine or discomfort elsewhere, which has proven enough to me that the old method of popping is not the best practice. Cara is extremely knowledgeable on everything, upon my first visitafter listening to what was going on she actually educated me on what was wrong, and how she could fix it which was a first for me. Plus I have never left an appointment with a migraine or any discomfort at all, the method she uses not only fixes issues you may be experiencing, but it also does not cause any discomfort elsewhere. Cara utilizes a different method in adjusting, she uses an activator for the actual adjustment which has been studied for the perfect amount of pressure needed to adjust bones back into alignment, after this she works on pressure points, because your muscles can pull things out of alignment, muscle memory is the cause of this. I have been a patient of Cara's now for about 6 months, when I first went in I was dealing with pain in my neck and shoulders, I had a pinched nerve in my neck which had been causing discomfort and numbing in my left hand. However overtime we have worked up to a monthly visit, and I am able to go a month in-between treatments without having this issue bother me or cause discomfort. If you are looking for a chiropractor that has lasting affect, and actually takes care of the issues instead of masking them you need to come see Cara at Serenity. The method she utilizes actually fixes the issues and after she helps retrain the muscles with working on the pressure points overtime you can switch from a more frequent visit to a monthly visit to help manage and maintain the alignment.
