  I'm sure it's still a nice walk so long as it's not flooded but I must've taken my grandson to the park.

  Great trail. Very easy. Lovely tree covered, wide walking area covered with crushed granite. The trail info says 1.3 miles but we could have kept walking. I'm not sure how much farther it goes.

  Great for a little nature trail hike. There are some houses on the edge of one side.

Rowlett Nature Trail is a nice trail along the edge of Lake Ray Hubbard near Garland. My husband and I go here often on the weekends when we don't have time to go farther away from home. Our dogs love it too, as we're often the only people on the trail and they can run free.
