I had a pretty major neck wound in which I was going to need some home health care. The home health care thing never really got off the ground, so I was sent to Wise Healing Center. What a magnificent decision that was. From the moment I walked in, they took care of me. The check in process is seamless. Then you wait in a very comfortable waiting area but not for very long. They get you in quick. The nurses are great! They took very good care of me. Thank You Alison, La Reina and Big AL. You ladies are the best! And then there's Doctor Crabb. I couldn't ask for a nicer, more informative doctor. He explains everything in detail and really puts you at ease. I'm not big on going to the doctor. But I can tell you that I was at ease every time I went to Wise Healing Center. A great experience and I'm healed! I can't thank the staff enough. And there were others there too. Sheila, Toni, John...I hope I have the names right. So if you need any kind of wound care. This is the place to go. Really, it is. I'm so grateful. I'm not going to lie, I'm going to miss seeing them regularly too. They are such great people and do a fantastic job. They'll take care of you and get you well. “We have been struggling with our 16 year old daughter for the past 18 months. She was admitted to various programs and it was little to no help. We were referred to Roots by a therapist and we looked into it and we are so glad we did. Roots staff is so compassionate and different than the other facilities she's ever been to. The first impression was a hug from the admissions director...I immediately felt the love and care. The facility is home-y, clean and has a warm feeling. They have a great program to help you daughter heal and recover. They have animals to care for and equestrian therapy. The girls also attend school while in the program which they can get caught up and stay on track. There is much more they do here to help your daughter along the way. “I started seeing Dr. Mahsa Parviz in 2017 at her Los Angeles offices when I was first diagnosed with cancer and needed someone highly specialized or a team of plastic surgeons and surgical oncologists to remove cancerous breast tissue and perform what my insurance considered to be an elective cosmetic procedure when I’d be visibly disfigured without at least getting a breast augmentation. I don’t do well under general anesthesia and a majority of the surgeons I saw wouldn’t operate on me unless I risked the complications from general anesthesia and no one I consulted with was able to offer the exact combination of surgeries that I wanted done simultaneously except Dr. Parviz and her team. She was the absolute best plastic surgeon for this and I was placed on methotrexate plus other medications, which she oversaw progress of, until my operation with her. She was able to do everything without general anesthesia and essentially grafted tissue/fat from other parts of my body after removing the cancerous breast tissue so my breast implants look and feel almost natural (they have the right amount of perkiness so that I don’t need a bra). I’ve been cancer-free for over a year and half all thanks to Dr. Parviz and her amazing medical staff! She worked with me and accepted only half as down payment and I paid whatever I could over the next couple months - worth EVERY penny. Dr. Parviz or one of the nurses still see me regularly to make sure the cancer isn’t coming back and my 6 year old daughter actually begs to come along to appointments just to “hangout” with Dr. Parviz since she’s so kind and animated with kids. I’ve recommended her for my friend’s son when he needed a second opinion before his operation for a rare pediatric cancer and also had two other friends go to her for breast implants and fillers. We’re all pleased with the results and she’s practically like family!”
