“Back Dough feels like one of the best kept secrets in the DFW area. The concept is pretty simple. They're only open for a few hours weekly on both Friday and Saturday nights, and they operate out the back of a popular Steakhouse. There are only ever two items, maybe three on their menu, $6 each. These menu items most commonly come in the form of a gourmet donut, but tonight showed me they sometimes spice things up (tonight offered an Italian steak and pepper sandwich!) Tonight's donut offering was Tiramisu. Unfortunately I ate the evidence and didn't snag any good photos, but let me just say that Back Dough has the absolute best and freshest gourmet donut offerings in the DFW area. You're not going to find a better donut anywhere, truly. Believe me; I've tried very passionately. They don't serve up absolute banger flavors every week, but if you're fortunate enough to go when they're offering something like their Maple Bacon flavored donut... My god. Restaurant quality bacon with amazing delicious creme filling... You're not going to find anywhere else serving something like that unless they're a fancy dining establishment. It's a truly unique experience. I'll try to snap some photos next time I go. If you're having a drink on the Denton Square on a Friday or Saturday night, do yourself a favor and watch the clock, and when it's about 5 minutes till 10 PM, mosey on over to Back Dough and get yourself a gourmet donut you won't find anywhere else. I'd recommend getting there right when they open so they're not sold out on any flavors. The demand can get crazy at times.”

“Nice place for groups to hang! Great 80’s music- the number one question I got was- is there dancing? There was not the night i was there- and no obvious dance floor- but there is a DJ and plenty of room- if you started dancing i feel no one would mind! Bring your party! Great drinks, and friendly service! Recommend!”

“I've been coming since 2019 and I've loved it. It's really welcoming and friendly. It's a smaller interdenominational congregation that's mostly college students and young adults. They value community, serving others, and following Jesus.”

“Wilkinson's Fine Goods may not be a national treasure (yet), but Clint and his shop certainly are a local treasure. He has a solid selection of fashionable leather products and accessories. I have personally bought a black leather belt and a front pocket bifold wallet, and I am very pleased with both of them. My wallet is slim yet it fits the cards I need. I currently have 6 card inside and 2 outside and it doesn't feel like I'm carrying a bulk of anything. He even monograms the wallets! Price-wise, it's up there, but I think it's fair. You're paying for quality and craftsmanship, and Clint is well worth it! Real, authentic leather that Clint personally works on. Quite the personal touch in a world that needs more personal touches, ya know? Thanks Clint!”

“Went for our anniversary dinner and had a great experience! Waiter was patient and explained things and answered all our questions. We ordered drinks, a few different appetizers, one entree each, and shared a side (sides are pretty big) and dessert. My favorite was the grilled oyster appetizer - the Serrano lime butter sauce was amazing and the Serrano pepper gave it a nice kick while still being light and refreshingly tasty. The entrees were good too, meat cooked perfectly. Definitely a place for a nice long sit down meal - took us a couple hours to get through all the courses. Perfect if you are looking for a dinner experience and want to enjoy a relaxing night out. Only complaint is that because the restaurant is in some kind of congested warehouse, sound carries a lot and makes it a pretty noisy dining environment, not what you’d expect from a high end steakhouse. Not the place to go if you want a quite, private feeling ambience. But the great service and delicious food made it worth it. And especially since there aren’t many nice places to eat out in the college town area, this place was a fun treat😊 Definitely recommend! And plan to go there again for another celebration day.”

“Small but amazing! This is a great museum for anyone interested in city history or firefighter information. Located on the ground floor, easy access, full of rich historical information about city fires and the firefighters of Denton. There was also a portion dedicated to the NYFD and 9/11.”

“Amazing place for a cut. Barber was able to squeeze me in when no one else could in an emergency before an event. Appointments are needed though. Great prices and great atmosphere. Highly. recommend.”

“This place is GREAT! Service was outstanding. Guys in the kitchen were friendly. Food came out quickly. Hummus is freshly made and the pita is so soft and warm. Ordered the falafel pita and couldn’t finish it because there was so much there. My kid ordered a side of fries and the seasoning was yummy. Will go again soon to try a bowl. Highly recommend!!”

“We ordered 3 egg rolls with peanut sauce as an appetizer. Egg rolls were definitely superior to what you get at most places: crisply fried, not at all soggy. They came with a nice, very slightly spiced peanut sauce. For our entree both my wife and I order the mango tilapia, which contained lightly breaded, fried tilapia fillets, with mango and onions on top serves with a side of rice. Presentation was excellent and so was taste. For dessert we split a cup of coconut custard, which was just right, not too sweet, but not bland either. In addition to the above, we received friendly and helpful service from Alicia. Would definitely recommend.”

“First timer - and was not disappointed! This place is absolutely beautiful and the owner of Java rocket is honestly so great and the nicest man ever! He’s came a long way and his coffee was the bomb. I had the iced Praline Dream from the specialty lattes menu and it was so good. Really good quality coffee. I think I might just have to become a regular at Java Rocket. I will be back! Oh and even better - dogs are allowed inside!”
