(December 21, 2022, 11:55 pm)I needed an estimate on repairs for a laptop for a SquareTrade warranty. Diagnostic fee was $65 but honestly, worth it to get something on paper that says repairs cost more than the device cost to get reimbursed by the warranty company.
Device was honestly cursed and had been sent to the manufacturer about three times, then to the warranty provider three times. Each time claiming it to have been fixed and being told basically "we'll give you your money back when OUR techs say they can't fix it"
Tech Savvy upon hearing the issues knew what would be the problem and what it would take for it to be fixed, new CPU, GPU, etc. Took the device under diagnostic for a few days and gave me an estimate to take to SquareTrade after they finally said I could take it to an outside repair place.
