I was a black belt before I ever stepped foot in Formiga’s academy. I’ve trained since 2007 and have seen hundreds of gyms. Believe me when I tell you this one is different. Yes the instruction is high level and taught by one of many world champions. Yes the academy is clean and the environment is professional. What doesn’t get enough recognition is the culture Formiga has created and cultivated. Come to a noon class during the week to see for yourself. The atmosphere is special and the leadership from the top to bottom has reinvigorated my love for jiu jitsu. We are always working, challenging ourselves, and helping others.
