Due dates for assignments are very flexible. Cons: Work Load is almost unbearable. There are at least 1 if not more homework for each class every single day. Some of the teachers just can't teach, and it's hard to get a hold of teachers fast.”

“We've been part of a K12 academy in 4 different states for the last 10 years. I have a senior at Texas Virtual Academy at Hallsville (TVAH). I absolutely love the virtual academies. This option for education worked so well for us as an active duty military family. The curriculum was seamless and cohesive when the rest of our life was up in the air. Instead of moving from school to school and never know if my kids were going to be ahead or behind, we just transferred to the next K12 school and started the next school year/subject. TVAH is a great option for schooling at home, however the parent must be organized and present (you wouldn't want your child's teacher to leave the classroom in the middle of the day). If you aren't, this may not work out so great for you.”
