Veterinary Emergency Hospital of Midlothian

Our sweet yorkie got ran over so I called and as soon as i walked in a vet was taking our dog. We didn't even have to check in for them to know what was going on. They put us in a room and told us the honest truth and unfortunately we had to put our baby to Sleep. They gave us our time with him and comforted us when it was time to put him to sleep. Such an absolutely devastating day but the whole staff was so amazing . Can't thank the staff enough for their kindness.

I had the unfortunate experience of needing to bring my chihuahua in twice in two weeks. The staff took such great care of her, and I would bring any pet back here if faced with an emergency again.
They kept me updated throughout and were patient with me when I called to ask for updates. Our dog was cared for so well even though she is quite the drama queen normally but was in a ton of pain. All of the doctors I spoke to (Dr. Lamarche, Dr. Montoya, Dr. Martin, and Dr. Marquez) were helpful and explained everything clearly and directly, even as I was quite emotional. The front desk staff was friendly and prompt as well. We are so lucky to have such a caring and compassionate group of people working at the emergency veterinarian office here in Midlothian.

I brought in my puppy for an allergic reaction, his entire face was swollen up and I was panicking, as soon as we arrived they took him back immediately to start on him. I am so grateful for their urgency and kindness most ER’s I have been to lack empathy but the staff here were the most empathetic and kind people and I cannot thank you all enough within 2 hours they were able to get the swelling down and inform me what needed to be done for him they were so professional I cannot recommend this place enough! They are so wonderful!

We brought our sweet 12 year old baby to Midlothian ER when she got very sick over the weekend. The news wasn’t good and we had to have her put down. The staff was kind, empathetic and helpful. The doctor and nurse stayed in touch with us until we could make our decision. Yes, it was expensive but that was expected because they did a myriad of tests to see if anything could be done, at our request. They had a special room for us to be with her and we stayed and held her until she was gone. Our hearts are broken but I will never forget the kindness and professionalism that was shown to us by Midlothian Emergency Vet.

Words can’t describe how amazing the staff at Midlothian Animal ER are! I stopped in around 3:30am one morning with our barley 5 day old puppy needing oxygen. Our sweet pup was having breathing issues and as soon as I walked in, the staff were very diligent and ready to take her back for care. I cannot remember the doctor’s name that I saw, I just remember his cool mustache. He was so professional and informative regarding our sweet puppy. We unfortunately had to euthanize her as she wasn't going to make it. Days later I received a sympathy card on Mother’s Day with the staff’s signatures and a lovely message in the card. It was so sweet and thoughtful of them to send us something. I hope to not need to go back to the ER for any of my fur babies, but if do, I’ll definitely go back to the Midlothian location.
