(January 7, 2019, 3:54 am)Did not finish program. Honestly, I do not believe in the steps or any program that if you leave you don’t get your money back, but they had good staff. Counselors are great. They are a business so what do you expect. Brian is the man to go to. Nurse is very caring.

Countless attempts to recover from a merciless disease of addiction landed me at the door of Bay Area Recovery. Without them, it would not have happened. Being there I have found a lifelong commitment of family, friends, and freedom. They loved me in spite of who I had been and showed me my mistakes didn't define me. THANK YOU BAY AREA RECOVERY!!!
(December 20, 2018, 12:26 pm)When I came to Bay Area Recovery Center I was so very sad, stuck in vicious cycle of addiction, shame and guilt. Before coming to BARC I went to a mental health psych ward because I was convinced I was crazy. Through working the 12 steps, sharing all my secrets, and being loved beyond measure by staff (counselors, house managers) and alumni I got back my spark for life and my spiritual malady overcome. I am so thankful for their help and love when I did not have any hope left. They saved my life and made me a useful recovered alcoholic who lives by spiritual principles. Thank you so much with all my heart!
(August 24, 2018, 5:10 pm)This is by far the absolute best place not only to get sober, but for long time recovery! The staff is amazing, as are the groups you attend where you have the opporunity to learn how to live in sobriety and recovery AND you learn how to LIVE and grow. I would most definitely recommend that anyone trying to make a choice as to where to go themselves or for a friend or family member, that you give BARC a try. I can truly say that this is a place you won't hesitate to call home and in it there will always be a family of recovery awaiting you with open arms.
