You can feel His presence in the worship of music and prayer. I've received many answered prayers over the last 40 + yrs. Great pastors have gone on to pastor other churches out of this small building. Truely the spirit of God dwells in this place.”

“Great place to exercise or take the dogs out to play. There is plenty of open space for the dogs to run, a playground for the kids and an exercise section for the adults. There is also a running / walking trail that surrounds the fields. All of this, of course, is available only when there aren't soccer games going on. Great place but bring bug spray.”

“Fast friendly with very good food. Self service, order at counter pick up food when your buzzer goes off. I had a very good burger and spicy fries, large portions reasonably priced. My wife's salad was top notch, better than most and she added a large portion of sweet potato fries. We sat on the covered deck and looked across to the beach. This was our first visit, next time we will try the German food options.”

“RV Park is beautiful, very clean, and the staff is so helpful and friendly. Concrete slabs are level. No problems with hook ups. They do not offer cable unless you stay a month. We did not use the bath house so I can’t comment on it. They have a nice playground, splash pad and swimming pool. We didn’t use the splash pad or pool because it was too cold, but some folk did and they were loving it. Location is very good. Not far from Galveston Sea Wall and local Walmart. Recommend Stella Mare as a place to stay while in Galveston. We will definitely be back.”

“There isn't a lot to do at the resort but that is more than made up for by location. We were within about 100-200 feet from the beach. We could look out our balcony and see our teenagers playing on the beach. The rooms were clean, adequately sized, and had decent furniture. Not top level stuff but also not cheap stuff either. We were minutes from the main strip with plenty of places to eat at and have fun. The resort is close to the Pleasure Pier which although it sounds like an adults only place is actually a family friendly boardwalk/carnival. I thought the Pleasure Pier was a little over priced but not out of line for a vacation spot. The resort is also very close to Houston which gives you even more places to go and have fun. My four kids, ranging ages 5-16, loved it and my wife and I were very happy with it as well. We were there off season so I would think during the summer there would be even more fun stuff to do”
