“Tl;dr you get what you pay for. Check in was easy enough, I would recommend an upstairs room if you have the choice, this gives you two lockable doors from the outside world. The two queens seem larger than regular queens which is a plus. The rooms are rather small but the cable package is large. Being right across from the beach is a huge plus, but the lack of reliable parking is a downside. Great for college trips to Galveston.”

“Best food I've had in a long time! Wonderful service, had the Pho 18 special soup, we had a shrimp spring roll and the beef and Noodle stir fry. Pho 18, you are our new favorite place to eat. We even got soup to take home. Small, nothing special looking outside, but wonderful inside! Came back today, 7/19, and had a different soup. Really good. Spring rolls the best. Thank you again”

“Free! You can even pull up and park right on the beach. What more could you ask for? Okay, there are no restrooms, changing rooms, lifeguards, or really any facilities other than trash cans. But the beach is clean, away from busy roads, and looks like a short walk to the pay facilities further east. I'm quite content, and you can't beat the price!”
