A very sweet young man came up to me with a handheld scanner and offered to scan my stuff while I waited in line which I thought was really cool. He checked me out took my payment and emailed me a receipt! This is really awesome and I'm glad Walmart is implementing these hand scanners”

“Let me start by saying that over the years I had lost the desire to ever go to a Best Buy, usually having the often joked about complete lack of knowledge service experiences that every usually knows Best Buy for. After writing even this location off a couple years, I found myself back in there a few months ago, and noticed a change for the good. Much more knowledgeable and attentive staff. I had all my questions answered. And left with a good sized purchase. Worried it was a fluke, I gave some time before I ended up there again, but the next time, I found great service again, and again left with a sizable purchase. Finally, just the other day, a third positive experience leading to yet another large purchase. I think Best Buy, and the staff at this location are trying to stay viable in an ever shrinking brick and mortar world for electronics, and they're doing a good job so far. For those wondering I went with 4 stars over 5, because although there have been a few consecutive good experiences, there are many years of horrible ones the company needs to overcome in my mind. If they keep it up though, they will get over that.”
