“Driven past this place many times on our way to Colorado/New Mexico, but have never stopped. On our recent drive back this holiday season, we were doing alright on gas and made the decision to stop in Post for lunch at Holly's. We didn't do the carhop service and went inside to order to use the restroom. The lady was nice behind the counter and took our cooked to order meal. We got cheeseburgers, bacon cheeseburger, onion rings, tater tots, and french fries. The burgers were reasonable prices (think In-n-Out and not Five Guys!) and were filling. I would highly recommend the onion rings with your meal, which there are plenty of options to choose from. This is our new stopping point to get something much better than the fast-food options in this desolate area of Texas.”

“As far as gas stations go it's clean as well as the bathrooms. Prices on par with anywhere in the area. Had snacks for the road and fresh tea. If you a local im sure its a good place. For the road tripper passing by it's worth passing some of the other places in the area. Quick and easy or not to bad to stretch your legs.”

“George's was recommended by the young lady at the Best Western. Stated she liked it as it was a sit-down restaurant with a wide selection of choices. She was spot on. We ordered the patty melt with fries and a catfish dinner grilled, you can also go fried, mashed potatoes, beans and green beans with a salad. The meal was fantastic. The waitress was working all the tables and not missing a thing. Friendly business and courteous staff. All hard workers.”
