Honeylu's Coffee

I made it a goal this year to avoid going to Starbucks. I’ve had some pretty good experiences going to different coffee shops. This one is definitely in my top 5. It’s connected to a gas station. At first I thought that would be weird but once you come inside you don’t feel like you’re in a gas station. I had the cold brew with house made lavender syrup and oat milk. It’s gonna be hard to top this lavender. It’s also very clean and very well taken care of. If it’s your first time, skip the drive thru. Go inside and relax on their leather couch you won’t regret it.

Was looking for something new and I am glad we came here! It has a very cute seating area and a menu with a wide variety of sandwiches and drinks. I got a bacon egg and cheese croissant and a sugar free caramel cold brew and my boyfriend got a heavenly hog panini and a lemonade. I thought my sandwich was good. Very standard so you can’t go wrong with that. I think I should’ve gotten a latte instead of a cold brew because the cold brew was a bit bitter for my taste. The heavenly hog was good with both savory and sweet flavors and the lemonade was good but basic. The sandwiches were pulled out of a fridge and then warmed up in an oven, but they were still good (just a heads up if you were expecting fresh off the stove top). The staff was very nice and offered to take my trash for me when I was done eating 😄. I do plan on coming here again to try some of their other sandwiches and coffee flavors!

I’m giving 5 stars because the coffee is great and the service was friendly. The cinnamon roll was a bit chewy, close to being under cooked but it had a good flavor had it just baked a little longer, I would’ve eaten it. It’s not as pretty as TexaKona’s used to be but that’s ok 😊 I will try another bakery item next time because this is my coffee place of choice!
