  Wow! We stopped to eat before a concert at the Berry Center, never having been in the area before. We were so impressed with the quality of food, it was so delicious, and the attentiveness of the staff. We won't be able to eat there often, as it is only a locally owned restaurant, but we will definitely go whenever we go to concerts.

  A nice new addition to Cypress. Friendly staff and good food. Would recommend the shrimp and grits.
  Updated - Still going strong, staff is awesome. My wife left her phone there and not only did they hold on to it, they stayed open late just for her to come back and get it. Food is always great, would recommend the pork chop. Gourmand Kitchen has become a regular spot for us.

  I like this restaurant. I appreciate restaurants that care about their food and use the local and scratch-made concept. I have had some really delicious dishes here. I have also had a couple of issues (charred kids burgers) but was told it had to do with the previous chef who they are no longer using. I believe this to be true because the food and service has improved so much in my recent visits. My only complaint now would be that the portion sizes could be a little bigger on some of the dishes for the price. My friend ordered a bowl of soup and it looked more like a large cup and I ordered a salad and it was the size of a side salad. If it had been side salad price, I'd be fine with that. Other dishes I've had were reasonable in portion so I can't say everything is too small. That said, I will gladly pay more for quality food. All in all, I will continue to support this establishment.

  We couldn’t have asked for better service or food. Called ahead to see if was dog friendly for the patio. They were more than accommodating, put tables together and an umbrella before we even arrived. The food is amazing, omelette for the kiddo, water for the pup, Gourmand Burger for the hubs and a delicious avocado salmon toast for me!! Brunch is amazing, drinks are great and the service is like being a VIP!
