(September 18, 2018, 7:51 pm)This park is rather small yet quiet & peaceful during the week.Running you can do just the black-top part or,as I did,run the rough other side of the water.Its dirt & some grass.I got 7 miles doing 3+ loops. The park also there is an outside covered workout station w about a dozen machines. Coming here is a nice reprieve from Cullen,Mason,Bear Creek & Terry Hershey's parks.
(July 1, 2018, 3:42 pm)OMG... the weather was beautiful, the basketball rims on the courts were up; the surrounding area was clean. The area was well lit and the the basketball courts were covered. The individuals playing basketball ranged in age from 12 to 50 years old. It was wonderful seeing all the games. I had a wonderful time at Richard & Meg Weekly Park. The men shared water, they helped each other up, they helped the younger kids with tips and they talked some basketball trash... I felt safe.
Around 1030pm, the police came and clear the area and locked the park up.
(January 23, 2018, 3:05 pm)I took my babies to the park. The park was a little on the small side but it was well kept. I went inside to find out more about the center itself and the staff was very informative. I will be back to try out their walking trail!
