(September 12, 2022, 1:00 am)They have science/nature days once a month if you sign up in advance. The talks that I've been to have been great. One was birds of prey about owls, hawks and other birds. They brought live birds in to see and they talked about the different ways they migrate or catch food. Another was on snakes and again live animals were brought in and it really helped my daughter with her fear of snakes. She got to see and touch and learn about different snakes. They have something different every month, so you have to contact them for the schedule and to sign up.
(January 8, 2022, 7:52 pm)John Paul Landing Park is a GREAT PARK! Its about 865 acres. The lake is going to be about 450 acres when complete. There is nice PAVED PATHS around the lake, PLAYGROUND for kids and BATHROOMS . However i don't think any boats or kayaking is allowed.

(September 21, 2020, 11:51 am)The place IS there, there is a large green sign stating as much. Long drive way, keep following it to the parking lot. Great place! Nice trails, they are still getting operational after closing down from COVID.
