“My mother and I moved my grandmother into the assisted living section of spring cypress this week. My grandmother has Alzheimer’s dementia and due to her current ability to remember she was reluctant to go due to. Both my mother and I thought the move would be VERY difficult but we were proved wrong. The team at spring cypress is fantastic! Everyone in every position at spring cypress went out of their way to make my grandmother feel comfortable. You would never know that they just opened up to the public within the last two months. With being so new they are definitely ready for the masses to move in. They are also very open to feed back and they will fix any issue that might arise immediately if you bring it to their attention. The decor throughout the whole facility is beautiful. The food is gourmet and delicious. My grandmothers first lunch was shrimp on fettuccine with garlic bread and hot peach cobbler for dessert. It looked like it should have been on a cover of cooking light. I was even impressed with Theresa, who is the dinning room attendant. Theresa was very pleasant, accommodating, and patient. She took the time to get down to eye level of each person to ask them what they would like to drink. Very impressive. The activities we witnessed while there looked right on par. In the morning we saw an exercise class where they were using beach balls, and the next day they were stretching with bands. They even played corn hole, but had them seated. Lastly, we loved that for every meal and activity a member of the staff walks around to all the rooms to offer the activity or to take them to dinner. This was truly a wow moment when we realized we were not going to have to worry.”

“First ever trip to the dentist (yes, I said first trip), and I must say I was very nervous. Kim and Dr. Rooney were great. They made sure I was comfortable and ok, and thoroughly explained my options to me for my issue. They even assured me that I will be fine and not to be nervous about the root canal procedure I will be undergoing. I have 3 family members that are patients of Dr. Rooney, and so far, I am impressed with the professionalism and care I’ve received thus far. I have a full exam a week from today, and I’ve been put at a little more ease now.”
