Thank you for a great class today! All of the girls really enjoyed it. We all learned a lot!
I’ve been doing Krav Maga for over four years, and it has absolutely changed my life for the better. The classes and the instructors are the best I could ever ask for. I’m so much more confident and feel better prepared to face challenges, both physical and emotional. The instructors do everything possible to simulate problems you might run into in the real world, they don’t sugarcoat ANYTHING, and they all truly love what they do. They encourage you to push yourself, and the students care about helping each other succeed. One thing I especially appreciate is that they teach warning signs to help you avoid ever getting in that dangerous situation in the first place, so you won’t have to fight at all. But if it comes down to a physical altercation, you can trust that you’re well-trained. If you’ve ever considered self-defense at any level, I suggest attending an intro class or a seminar at Krav Maga Houston. I’ve never seen anyone regret it.
If you want to learn self defense, this is the place to go. After over twenty years of martial arts study in different styles (Japanese, Korean, Chinese), this is the place I am.settling down. This is one of the best Krav Maga schools in the country and has a ton of black belts.
My husband and I signed up for a 12 month package which was about $1500pp. That's a pretty good deal if you compare prices with other martial arts or CrossFit gyms. The intro class is nothing like the regular classes, and it's designed to energize and excite you about joining, a sales tactic. Just don't be surprised like I was. I would have preferred to trial for a week so I could try out the classes that fit my schedule and decide if I liked those instructor's styles.
If you hate working out for the sake of working out, you'll probably love this. The education was just as valuable as the exercise. In the end, the commute 2-3 times a week after work was too far from my suburban home, and I cancelled my membership early. If you don't mind the drive and are looking for something fun, challenging, and exciting, this could be a great option.
My 14 year old daughter has been going to Krav Maga for about 2 months and she can't get enough! She loves it! It has boosted her self esteem, she is making new friends, and she is learning skills that she will be taking with her through life. She is definitely stronger and more confident! The instructors are awesome and the whole youth program is just amazing! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
