Second Baptist Church, West Campus

I can speak about the west campus. It's a large church with a very personal feel. Lots of different Bible study classes. Every pastor and staff is warm and personable. Lots they have general groups and then specific group's like single parents, women's groups, men's groups and groups for specific ages. There are also very specific groups that help with divorce recovery and marriage strengthening. And so many opportunities for mission work abroad and at home.If you have kids, Second kids is a terrific experience. My kids love going to their own hour of Bible study and then their own worship service. From toddlers to teens they have so many activities year round. Dr Young greets and speaks to everyone.

I just started attending this church not that I am a Baptist I have always kept to non-denominational churches. I have started attending the GoPro class on Sunday mornings which is a missionary based doctrinal class and very much enjoy it. The main service afterwards is mainly a praise and worship gathering in the main auditorium, which is fine. I just personally prefer the doctrinal learning as this is what enables you to acquire the mind of Christ.

I love this church. They a family oriented and have so much activities for kids and teenagers. God bless this wonderful church and staff.

Great church and I would recommend this place to anyone. I emailed a prayer request and got a quick response and was very happy that they prayed for me. Stop by when you get the chance, the service is short and to the point.

I love this church! I love that it was here that I came to Christ. Everything about this church is great. The child services is on point.
