“We were lucky people today in Houston PRC Embassy. We required expedited service for my mother’s China visa due to urgent need back to China for treatment. The female officers in window 5 was so patient to answer our questions, female officer in window 4 was smiling to us all the time. Our urgent request was accepted but we were late to pick up her visa since our electrical car was out of battery. We really appreciate officer in embassy made exception and gave us visa after business hours. Thank you so much.”

“Fantastic place. Really honest and informed advice on surf boards from both Jeff and Mark. No pressure to purchase - they genuinely like to see you leave the store with something that’s really going to suit you and that you’ll use, or they’d prefer that you didn’t buy at all - wonderful and not just sales focused but people focused. Picked up some great clothes and beach gear too.”

“First time here and I will definitely be coming back. Super cute salon in a very "Montrose" converted house. This was my very first time coloring my hair. Marissa explained the entire process before we started and asked a ton of questions to make sure we were on the same page and i was comfortable. Super welcoming staff of lovely ladies. (And they offer vino!!) Perfect way to start the weekend”

“Nursing program uses art to help students proses trauma. The University of St. Thomas is a comprehensive university that prepares students for the complexities of the contemporary world. As Minnesota’s largest private university, with approx. 10,000 students from 50 states and 63 countries, St. Thomas has metropolitan campuses in St. Paul, Minneapolis and Rome. The university offers more than 100 undergraduate majors with opportunities for cross-disciplinary coursework in the liberal arts, and 60 graduate degree programs, including engineering, business and law. Broad offerings are paired with a low student-faculty ratio of 14 to one, allowing each student to enjoy personal attention from professors and opportunities to collaborate in student-faculty research. In addition, faculty, not teaching assistants, teaches one hundred percent of classes. The university’s partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and its 105,000 alumni connect students to internships – completed by nearly two-thirds of undergraduates. Ninety-five percent of students are employed or enrolled in graduate schools within nine months of graduation. Rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition, students are taught to think critically, act wisely and work skillfully to advance the common good. Students contribute nearly 45,000 hours to nonprofits, and more than half of undergraduate students study abroad, expanding their perspectives inside and outside the classroom. Campus life means getting involved. St. Thomas athletic teams have won at least one conference team championships in 22 of 23 sports in which it has fielded teams, won 14 NCAA team championships in eight sports, and have 84 recognized Academic All-Americans. Students widely participate in academic and recreational clubs, and can live in learning communities with students who share their affinities. Known for a contagious school spirit, they cheer on their teams and proudly wear purple on “Tommie Tuesdays.””

“I love their variety of flavors that are unique but not strange. Last time I visited I had two that I normally get plus Sweet Potato, which I truly hope they keep. They also have non-dairy Sorbet in addition to Gelato. Parking is a little tight sometimes.”

“My best car maintenance/repair experience by far! My repair was completed very quickly and Chris was SO friendly and great to work with. “First time here, we didn't know what to eat..after eating, we all glad we came...satisfied! My husband order the seafood crackers (seafood stir fry served with brown rice) really good and the amount of food right on point worth the money. I order thai noodle soup with roasted duck, I add extra chili fish sauce and chili powder which have on the table and it's delicious. The server and owner really nice, they get the high chair ready when we walking in with the car seat. They give us small bowls of soup and also delicious. We will come back and try other dishes.”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lily. I was getting married and my hair/makeup cancelled on me the week before my wedding. I was extremely nervous and panicking. I called Lily and she was able to fit me in and gave me a great price, despite it being last minute. I wanted something elegant and natural but still unlike my every day look. She completely nailed the look. She asked for my feedback every step of the way, knew exactly what I wanted and made me feel & look amazing! I HIGHLY recommend her! I don't typically write reviews but I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She is also an amazing, interesting and bubbly person. I got a lot of compliments on my hair and makeup throughout the night. I've already let my family know about her studio. If you're unsure or have any doubts, book with her. You will not regret it!”

“My fiancee and I started here recently and we enjoy it so much we find it easy to go regularly. From the first day you can tell you are valued and the instructors and owner want nothing but success for whatever goals you wish to achieve. On your first day, the owner spends an hour just getting to know you and your goals and does a personal work out with you to set some benchmarks. All of the instructors give personal attention during the group classes to ensure you are doing things right or they will even make recommendations for easier or harder exercises depending on where you are at physically. In addition to the friendly staff, the gym members all seem to be regulars and they are very friendly, welcoming, and supportive. The structure and timing of the classes make it easy to ensure you get a full body workout whether you attend 3 days per week or 7. They offer physical training (legs/push/pull), mobility and stretching classes, and fire and ice classes (you need to call and ask, the experience is amazing). Additionally they also offer learning seminar classes such as goal setting, breathing for athletes, etc. As I travel a bit for work, the instructors will even provide some recommendations for things to do to stay in shape and on your routine. If you are unfamiliar with calisthenics, it's a mostly body weight driven exercise method. It has a very low probability of injury compared to other types of workout methods and it builds a balanced and powerful body that will aid you in daily life and as you age. You'll have a hard time finding a better gym to call home.”
