I've been working out with April for about a year, and she has positively changed my understanding of not only my physical health but mental health as well. I love how she really puts care in her work out programming and how she caters to every individual's different needs and circumstances.
April changed my life! I came to her searching for a healthier lifestyle, and seven months later, I am not only in the best physical condition of my life, but I have also created healthier habits in my nutrition and daily attitude. April encourages total wellness and mindfulness. She gets to know her clients on a personal level in order to tailor her fitness programs to meet the specific needs of each individual client. I am a member of her semi-private sessions (3 people max) and I still feel that my workouts are highly individualized. She also attends conferences and lectures regularly and is always incorporating new ideas and takeaways into her workouts. In addition, she offers yoga in her in-home studio. With "the core" at the center of her personal philosophy, she is the total package! I would recommend her to a person of any age, health, or physical ability. She has something for everyone!
I started working with April in May 2019 after I moved back to Houston for work and I have to say it has been one of my best decisions. April is a great trainer and has a wealth of knowledge on physical fitness but above all she is a great person that really cares about you. Your workouts can make range from heavy weights to light weights to a great stretch session it really depends on you. So you have total control of your workout program.

They have a private gym / private studio located conveniently near downtown, Houston Heights, EaDo and Washington Corridor. She takes an individualized, personalized and customized approach to your specific goals. April cares a great deal about her clients, goes the extra mile, and delivers excellent results. The intimacy of her gym and yoga studio make the experience approachable and empowering. She also has a great series of apps to track your goals, progress and milestones.
I have just finished month 1 of the 3 month fitness/wellness package. I have lost weight and inches off my hips and waist. I have friends coming up to me all the time commenting on how slim and toned I have become.
In addition to the customized workout routines that are different every day, I also have personalized nutrition plan. I have found ways to eat better foods that are better for me. I could not be happier with the results I am seeing so far. I can't wait to see what the next 2 months have to come.
The app that Core Theory has developed is so user friendly and easy to use. I love that I can pull up my workout and nutrition on just one app. I am very type A and like that I am able to check boxes after I finish aspects of my workout.
I am feeling better than ever. I could not be happier with the physical and mental wellbeing progress from eating correctly and following routine exercise schedules. I can't thank April and her continuous hard work enough!
