Dr. Mathews was very Proffesional and replaced my bad total knee replacement with one that worked so well everyone including myself couldn’t believe how fast I progressed in therapy and getting to full motion with the new knee. He saved my quality of life for which I am very grateful.

Awesome doc. Straightforward, honest and personable. A true professional and technical expert in the field of joint replacement surgery. Answered any and all questions about my hip procedure with ease, both before and after the procedure. Also responded to emails personally and called me himself on more than one occasion to discuss various aspects of my case. I had to trust him completely with my athletic future given that hip resurfacing was plan A and total hip replacement was plan B, with a decision to be made in real-time during the procedure on which option to pursue. I ended up with plan B and have total faith that his judgement was spot-on. I would highly recommend him for anyone else considering joint surgery for the knee or hip.

Operated my father of 78 years for a knee replacement 5 months ago, at first he seemed kind of unfriendly, but later we noticed that it was just that he is so busy and good at his job that he goes to the point of an issue. Excellent service during surgery, explained everything, follow up appointments have been excellent with him. Texas Orthopedic Hospital gave us great service.

Dr Mathews is very detailed and knowledgeable about hip replacements with a great bedside matter, he discussed all the options with me and was very patient. It's been 3 months since my surgery and I'm well pleased with no pain. I'm feeling amazing. If you need a hip replacement surgeon he's your guy. The staff and hospital was also clean, organized, and amazing. If I could give him 10 Stars************ I would.
