“We have always appreciated SOFA, but especially appreciate how SOFA so nimbly went virtual in Spring 2020 without skipping a beat. It has been so helpful for my son to have that outlet every week, and the quality of his voice instruction has been maintained. There are so many ways that SOFA is awesome, and this is yet another.”

“Mrs. Savitski is an wonderful piano teacher that provides exceptional piano lessons in Houston. I’ve known her for over seven years now and I’m so thankful for her. Mrs. Savitski is a caring friend, an experienced mentor and a fantastic teacher. Without her, my daughter would have no chances to get to music program in college. Mrs. Savitski explained every single detail of the admission process like requirements, the best program, and shared priceless tips as well. Now, my daughter is a junior at University of Houston’s Moore’s School of Music pursuing the Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance degree. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of our cooperation and I am so proud of my daughter. Mrs. Savitski is so welcoming, supportive, and encouraging, it is impossible to ask for a better teacher. I wholeheartedly recommend Mrs. Savitski and her individual piano lessons!”

“We're not zoned to this school, so we didn't know anything about it until our daughter was about to enter kindergarten five years ago. By that time, we just found out about Vanguard school (Gifted and Talented magnet) and T.H. Rogers, so we got our daughter scheduled for a test. We didn't really know what other choices we had, but we listed Herod as our second choice just because it's closer to home, and that's where our daughter was about to get her GT test. On the testing day, the first time my daughter set her eyes on that school, she just fell in love with it. She said she wanted to go to Herod, and no other. In the end, she got wait listed at T.H. Rogers and got some spots at charter schools, and a spot at Herod. We took Herod and never look back! She's been doing really well at Herod, an A honor roll ever since 1st grade, always performs way beyond her grade level, but she never gets bored because her teachers always find a way to motivate her to learn deeper and beyond. Now, her younger sister is in Herod too. They're two very different personalities, like the opposite of one another. Amazingly, they got nurtured at Herod based on their own characters. I can see how they both shining in their own unique ways. I think this is what I like most about Herod, they bring out the best in every students. P.S: their PTO are the best too!”

“My daughter went to this school for about a year when she was 2 years old. It was a difficult time for her father and I because we just split up. I miss this school so much because they truly care and your children will learn beyond standards.”

“Best choice we made for our kids. Don't underestimate the small campus or small student body, its education and staffs are by far the best we can ever experience. We strongly recommend the school and wish the best.”

“I absolutely LOVE this school! I have two kids enrolled, a 1 year old and a 2 year old. My 2 year old knows all of his colors, numbers, ABCs, days of the week, and so much more!! I am amazed at some of the things he comes home and says. The owners are both educators and they actually teach your kids. My kids LOVE it there and I can tell they are treated very well. They sure eat good too! It always smells so fresh, so you KNOW its super clean! I would recommend this SCHOOL to anyone I know!!”
