“The corner store doesn't accept food stamps for purchases. They insist that you spend $5 to use a debit card there. I couldn't get a Dr. Pepper when my blood sugar was low. I could have died. I will take my business elsewhere. All of the stores in the area require a person spend $3-$5 to use a debit card. That is not very convenient for concience stores. I don't always have very much money. I am poor. I will just buy a drink and food before I go to my doctor's office in the area. I will not actually die then. People who need to spend just a little money and don't have cash are screwed. They just don't care. I don't care for their service. I just need to go to a reputable store in a decent neighborhood. The people in the area are poor as well as me. I am sure it is an inconvenience to them as well.”

“These folks are the best. I've had pieces casted elsewhere in Houston and in Loveland, CO -- these people did a superb job with my sculpture and as a bonus, they are a really lovely extended family. Matriarch Uga is the guiding hand and is in charge of molds and wax; son David does pouring and patinas and runs the shop; nephew Victor chases the bronze. Other family members work there, too. They took extra time to get the patina just right and to position the piece on the base just right. I hope to sell a few and I'll be back to Legacy for the next casting.”

“I am 65 years old. I was shot in my right eye with a BB gun when I was 14 years old causing a cataract on my right eye because of the trauma. It took two major surgeries requiring general anesthesia to remove most of the cataract to enable me to see with a very uncomfortable cataract contact lens. I was a regular visitor to ER because of painful cornea abrasions. Eventually I quit wearing my cataract contact lens. Upon the advent of cataract lens implants I started asking several opthamologist if the procedure could be done on me. All of them and I repeat ALL OF THEM said too much tissue had been removed and lens implant was not an option. Dr. Whitsett came highly recommended and said he could do the procedure. He performed the procedure in 15 min day surgery. The following day after surgery I missed one letter on the 20/20 line. Its been 50 years since I have had vision in my right eye. Thanks so much Dr. Whittset. The Whittset staff is very efficient and professional. I couldn't be more happy. I had absolutely no pain during or after surgery. To say Dr. Whittset has cataract surgery down pat is an understatement. The man is a surgical artist.”
