(April 14, 2019, 9:55 am)Good food, for South Indian food, very authentic. Do not go there for North Indian food. Taste is not what should be for North Indian dishes. Service not as good as it should be. Server never came back to even refill our water.
(January 31, 2019, 4:40 pm)Really enjoyed the weekday buffet. Not so pretty photo, but it shows the great variety available on their lunch buffet. Fantastic dosa and chapati. Loved everything. One star off because not all the food on the buffet was piping hot (temperature).

This evening we decided to try a new Indian restaurant off Westheimer in Houston. The Gayatri Bhavan is a hidden gem near the West Oaks Mall area. It's vegetarian Indian cuisine that has both northern and southern styles of cooking. We were greeted right away and had our drink orders taken.
