“Today is Jump for Joshua Day at the kid's school. Joshua is a boy from their school that has cancer and is hospitalized. To help the family the school set a goal to sell 300 t-shirts for $10; they also sold wrist bands for $5.00, with all proceeds going to the family. My 5th grader knew Joshua and made sure I got everybody a t-shirt and we sponsored some too. With either the t-shirt or the wrist band you'd get to jump in a bounce house. This activity showed the kids compassion and support for others. This school goes above and beyond anyway by giving food, clothes, etc., to any kid in need. I love Whispering Pines Elementary School and the wonderful people that work there.”
