(March 5, 2020, 10:17 am)The Pappas empire is extensive for a reason. Excellent food, excellent service, hospitable management with prices to match.
The manager came over to the table, heard it was our first visit, gave us dessert, and made sure everything was right.
We loved the Texas Redfish house special...will return.
(March 1, 2020, 1:49 pm)I went here with my friends for a lovely lunch. It was my first time here and I was not disappointed. Lovely atmosphere and great professional and friendly staff. We were able to enjoy a delicious meal and each other's company without feeling rushed and also without having to wait too long for our food. Highly recommended
(January 24, 2020, 1:41 pm)I debated whether to give 4 stars or 5, then it struck me: I have an expectation. I've been coming to Pappas since it opened in 1981, and have come to expect an extremely high standard of food and service. Food recipes are still top notch, worthy of consideration for Michelin star ratings (if none have been awarded). Of course they consider all aspect of the experience, including ambiance. One of my draws is the noise levels, feels like a party, sort of. When I was young, this was the place waiters wanted to come because the pay would be fantastic. Not sure if it still is, but little things like drink orders quickly taken and delivered, teams making sure waters were refilled as a section. Unfortunately, this last part isn't the same now. Could have been because there was a trainer showing a trainee the ropes, but that attention to detail has always been part of my expectations. Wasn't the only thing, but when I realized I was fussy, it was because I had such high, high expectations for excellence. No one can maintain that level forever. Still great food and pretty darn good service too. Still worth 5 stars, even from someone whose fussy, like me.

Close to the airport, a good place if you are getting on a flight or just got to Houston.
Everything served at our table looked amazing. Good service too. Clean, nice decor, easy parking. What's not to like about this place.
(November 22, 2019, 8:18 pm)Food was fantastic!!. Service outstanding. Restaurant clean, decor charming and parking plentiful. Give your employees a huge bonus. The greeter, hostess and waiter made me feel appreciated. Thank you for a job well done.
