Mac-Chicken

The place is very clean and the owner is very nice.

The food was good and he was out of white meat which I usually eat, but the dark meat was good to my surprise.

I’m from SC and it reminded me of back home food and those fries & cornbread is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

We got several fried chicken meals (I had dark meat) and chicken sandwiches for my family and I. The prices are great, and it was SO delicious. Perfect spices, perfect crispy, juicy crunch. Cooked to perfection. Also pleased to see a place serve greens and do it right. We will be back.

My wife and I have been wanting to try this place out as we watched the progress of the restaurant opening. She ordered the grilled chicken and I got the fried. Great service and the food was good. The oil used to fry the french fries and chicken was not hot enough and in turn made for greasy food. This is a fledgling business and anticipate that the cooking techniques will improve. They are local and veteran owned so give them a try.

We enjoyed lunch today at Mac-Chicken. I had the fried chicken. The coating was crispy and tasty, and the chicken was moist and cooked to piping hot perfection. When paired with rice and gravy and homemade cornbread — delicious! My husband had Mango-Habanero grilled chicken, rice and gravy, and cornbread, all very good. Mac made our meal himself. You can tell he is a proud business owner serving up “tastes-like-homemade” meals in Katy, TX. Mac, a veteran, pays homage to those who have or are serving by proudly displaying the flags of the armed services in Mac-Chicken. We will be back!
