JLB Eatery - Old Katy

First time eating here & the food was great. Pickles were a little bland. I ordered a kids burger & it was a nice size. Fries were seasoned & gd as well. My only suggestion if you like your meat well done tell them when ordering my burger was slightly pink.

Absolutely delicious! This hidden gem is located in the heart of old Katy at the corner of Franz Rd. & Avenue D. We ordered two cheeseburger combos with fries and the 6-piece shrimp with fries - soooo good! The restaurant was super clean, had nice decor, and was well laid out to order in one spot and select your drinks in another. I called them after we ate to thank them for making a delicious lunch. We will be back :-)))

PS: Order the shrimp or fish “London style.” It’s scrumptious!

Tried this new place in Old Katy and was pleasantly surprised. My wife had a regular burger and I had the bacon cheese burger and they were great. Good flavor from being cooked on a flattop grill and smashed to perfection. The onion rings have a good batter. Clean place but does not have a restroom so you will have to go next door in the covenant store.

Will be back to try the fried shrimp as we saw someone's plate and they looked and smelled fantastic.

UPDATE
Went back to try the fried fish and shrimp and will not order that again. From frozen shrimp and don't know what kind of fish that was but it wasn't good. Super salty and lacked flavor. All you could taste was the cornmeal coating. Stick with the burgers.

Friendly helpful team. Great astomphere. The menu selection was unexpected and unique. I tried the JLB burger and fries. My other half the catfish, shrimp, and fries. Everything was delicious! I'm going to bring the rest of my family to try it out. I highly recommend JLB Eatery. Can't wait to try something else on the menu!
