Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

My family went to Olive Garden Tuesday night and had a great time. Our waiter was very kind and well made us feel very cared for. My wife ordered something that looks like a breaded bowl with marinara sauce and meatballs and cheese. Here's the kicker, they just announced it in New York and didn't have it on the menu and guess what? They made it for her! First person that I know of in Texas to try it. Our server was incredible! He was very nice and spoke English and Spanish, which I appreciated since my mom does not speak English.
The food was also very good and the drinks exactly right.

Food was good and the portion sizes were huge. Both of us took home doggie boxes... Service was excellent Our server gave us plenty of time to talk, but serve us in an expedited fashion. Well done!

My daughter took me here for both Mother's Day and my birthday the day before. It had been quite some time since I had been to Olive Garden and, as usual, the food was amazing! I tried the spaghetti with the 5 cheese marinara sauce. It was exquisite! The food and service are wonderful each time I go there. Being Mother's Day, of course, the wait was excessive (1 1/2 hours). I would like to suggest to Olive Garden, and other restaurants also, that it would be great if they could return to the day's gone by and allow reservations. Especially for large groups and on holidays. I believe that it would minimize patrons excessive wait times and frustrations while reducing stress of the employees that have to scramble to make tables available for large parties.
