This woman after working an entire shift on a Friday night, undoubtedly busy the whole night, will see me approaching on my motorcycle and run my order to me outside before i can even flick the kickstand to park my bike... “The Pizza Shoppe is take out and delivery only - an unassuming little shop next to a gas station and donut place at Franz and Avenue D. For a neighborhood pizza place, this one is a star. The pizza is closer to thin crust than thick, but is definitely of the hand tossed variety. Every pizza gets a garlic butter coat brushed onto the crust before it is put in the box, and the pizza is fantastic. The cheesy garlic bread is also delicious, and comes with more than a normal fast food pizza place would include in an order for the price charged. If you go in person, the owner is very friendly as well, and has been there every time I've gone. They support local sports teams and proudly display the photos of their employees who have gone on to serve in the military, so its the sort of place that feels like it belongs to a small town neighborhood.”

“I can write a thesis about these people here. They are always going above and beyond and helping everyone no matter how grumpy the customers are. I regularly go to slick Willie's and they all know when I come to order. They tell me how long the food will be and they bring it to me. This is what you call customer service and going above and beyond. It sucks that they took the tips portion out of the billing though. Also, special shout out to Tutu who always gets the orders right and is always there with a big smile! Keep up the great work!”

“Place has mom and pop restaurant feel. Excellent large thin crust pizza for $8.99 coped two of them. Pick up order in 20 minutes but delivery is close to on hour. Lia at the register is a beautiful soul, love her attitude. Shout out to the kitchen crew and the girl who brought my order to the front with care and pride. Thank you.”
