Hi Kim - I think I told you that I was struggling with planters fasciitis, and I have been stretching daily and icing for a few weeks now with limited success. Yesterday, after doing Pilates, riding my horse in a high-cardio lesson and hiking with my donkey, it has all but disappeared. This morning I woke up and took a step with almost no pain. (After being dormant is always the worst time, never when I'm moving.) I think the Pilates really helped a lot! I am most pleasantly surprised. I might add in a few extra Pilates to keep this going.

I am so glad that I decided to do Pilates. It has helped me so much overall. Back pain is almost non-existent.

Thanks for being a phenomenal instructor. You really care about each individual.

I have a wonderful sense of accomplishment and well-being after my session with Kim at New Movement. Over the past year or so that I have been working with Kim, her thorough knowledge of muscles, breath, and movement and her focus and dedication have helped me become more balanced and aware of how I use my body. Each session is completely tailored to my needs of the day, and I have had some challenges, scoliosis and a concussion, to name a couple. I know several people who are taking classes with other teachers at New Movement and have high praise for them as well. Highly recommended.

I have just started attending sessions at New Movement, and am surprised at how capable, funny and smart the instructors are. Usually you only find one really exceptional teacher in a bunch, at best two. This place has several really good instructors! The tone is fun and light-hearted; they don't take themselves too seriously, which makes for a great learning environment. I find myself smiling during classes. I burst a spinal disc seven years ago and have done alot to bring myself back to about 91%. I was living with it with a positive attitude, but now I feel I will achieve 100% by coming to sessions at New Movement. This is a rare find. They even offer amazing trial offers and package deals. I am usually wary of such things, but once again, this place is the exception to the rule. Thank you, New Movement team. Hooray!

Last Sept 2, 2012 I crashed on my rode bike and fractured my L pelvis, L collar bone and broke my L 2nd and 3rd rib. I am a physical therapist and had been recovering nicely but noticed something was missing in regaining my overall strength and flexibility. After 4 sessions with Kim, I am now fully recovered. I can bike again, jog for 30 minutes, and am feeling better than before the accident! Kim's attention to detail regarding maintaining core stability, and flushing out my weakness is impressive. She is very knowledgeable in working with rehab as well as high caliber athletes. I HIGHLY recommend her and will be referring clients to her as a support for recovery of any injury!

New Movement is a great addition to the neighborhood!

I've now been attending 1-3 classes a week for over the last 6 months, mostly with Kim and Martha. Class sizes are small- 3 for reformer. This means that there is so much personal attention given to your individual needs- it feels like a personal training appt. The environment is very welcoming and friendly. There is a variety of ages and experience levels with a variety of different course types. I've mostly been doing their intermediate classes and also their jump board classes. One of the things I most appreciate is that class is never the same each week- I get bored easily, so I really appreciate how much they mix things up. Registration for classes is online and the system is easy to use.

    HIGHLY recommend New Movement Pilates!
